5 Ideas For Proposing in the Fall

5 Ideas For Proposing in the Fall

It’s the end of August, which means that fall is right around the corner! With the arrival of autumn comes chilly weather, hayrides, apple picking, football, and pumpkin-spiced everything.

Autumn is the perfect time to propose, especially if your significant other loves the season. If you’re looking for some ideas, here are some of our favorite ways to propose in the fall!

By a Bonfire

Whether you want an intimate just-the-two-of-you proposal or a proposal surrounded by friends and family, proposing by a bonfire is a great choice! Snuggle up under a blanket, make some s’mores, and get down on one knee!

At a Winery

Fall’s perfect weather makes outdoor proposals ideal. What could be better than surprising your loved one with a relaxing day out that starts with sightseeing and drinking wine and ends with a ring on her finger?

On a Hayride

Another fun way to propose in the fall is to hop on a hayride! Coordinate ahead of time and have your driver stop at a location that would make the best proposal location!

While Apple or Pumpkin Picking

Apple or pumpkin picking are both favorite fall traditions that present perfect proposal opportunities! These picturesque locations also create amazing backdrops for pictures. And, if you plan ahead, you can have a friend secretly take pictures for you.

At a Football Game

For many people, this season is a favorite for an entirely different reason -- football! If both of you love football (or if it plays a special role in your relationship), why not propose at a game? It doesn’t matter if it’s a college game or a professional game. Either way, consider contacting the stadium ahead of time to let them know your plans. Chances are, they’ll be willing to help!
