2022 Wedding Trends
We are just a few months into 2022 and we are already seeing some exciting new wedding trends! Here are some of the biggest trends we’re seeing (and expect to continue seeing) this year.
A Focus on Fun
After two years of uncertainty, people are ready to party! Many couples postponed their weddings for years and are finally having the celebration they’ve been waiting for. This anticipation has couples focused on all things FUN!
Entertainment Surprises
Along with this focus on fun comes entertainment surprises! Many couples are hiring more than the traditional DJ or wedding band to entertain their guests. Instead, some are hiring multiple bands – one for cocktail hour, one for dinner, etc. Many weddings are also incorporating other surprises, like professional dancers or other performers.
Destination Weddings
This year is also a huge year for destination weddings. Now that travel restrictions are loosening up, more couples are opting to tie the knot in their favorite destinations. Destination weddings are a trend that we expect to see around for many years to come!
Pops of Color
Weddings in 2022 also have been switching up the color trends of the last few years. While most couples are still opting for neutral palettes, many are also adding in pops of color. We are also seeing this trend extending into wedding jewelry (including engagement rings and wedding bands)!
Intimate Environments
As wedding guest counts grow larger this year, many couples are creating environments with a focus on intimacy. The idea is to create a wedding that feels like a “micro wedding” even though it’s not. Many couples are creating cozy, comfortable environments for their guests to relax and truly enjoy themselves.
