IT'S WEDDING WEDNESDAY!!! Our Favorite Day of the Week! This week Megan tells us about their perfect day, "Our Wedding day was magical: Our story begins 7 years ago at the Jigger Shop. He was working there as a busboy, and I was there with my family enjoying some ice cream when the “tall cute busboy” caught my eye. My grandmother, who we call Nan, told me to leave my number. I resisted at first. I was so embarrassed! But how could you say no if your grandmother is telling you to go for it? So I ended up leaving my number for the (very) “tall, cute busboy”. He contacted me a few months later after finding me on Facebook.. and we then dated for 5 years before he popped the question at the Jigger Shop. Truly a God moment and not a coincidence, since the only connection we had to ever meet was that ice cream shop.

Our wedding day brought our love story full circle and we were able to have our “first look” as soon to be husband and wife at the same place we first laid eyes on each other.

My Nan, who is the reason I’ve met my husband, has dementia and now lives in a home. Leading up to the big day we worried if she would be able to make it, as there were some days she wouldn’t even get out of bed. By the Grace of God she was able to attend our Wedding. I had a first look with my Nan, and she was also able to make it to the reception!

Truly, I couldn’t think of a more special, perfect spring day to marry the love of my life surrounded by friends and family!" Congrats Josh and Megan! Your story is perfect in every way!
