IT'S WEDDING WEDNESDAY! The Best Day of the Week! Here is what the beautiful bride-to-be had to say about her engagement night. "I was anticipating Thursday night (April 19th) ALL week because Jon said he had a small, but special date night planned for me (which is quite normal for him). The night started out with a tasty dinner at Wyndridge Farm Restaurant in York County. After dinner we were going to go get ice cream, but Jon asked if he could check his wheat quick on the way there. I said sure, and we drove back a muddy lane and then up on the top of a hill to get to the field. I hopped out of the truck to check the wheat with him, and he told me to count 200 rows in. So completely oblivious, I kept my eyes down, really focused, and got to about row 70. Little did I know, Jon wasn’t even counting and this was just to keep my eyes down until we reached the top of the hill 😉 I looked up soon after, and across the way on the side of another hill was “Lydia Will You Marry Me?” written in 186 small straw bales. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Right then, Jon got down on one knee, asked the big question, and of course I said YES! It was really special being up on the top of that hill just the two of us, committing to forever together. Afterwards, we drove home and celebrated with both of our families who were patiently waiting for us." Congrats to Lydia Brubaker and Jon!
